$220.00This course offers a comprehensive introduction to working safely at heights.
Students are instructed in the selection of fall protection equipment appropriate to the working environment, as well as the strengths and limitations of equipment, and inspection and maintenance requirements.
The practical content of the course covers choosing and correctly fitting a harness, putting up a temporary lifeline and a basic introduction to knots.
Though there are no qualification prerequisites, participants must be physically fit for duty and wear normal work clothing and enclosed shoes that are suitable when climbing.
Course fee is $220 per person.
CSQ funding of $225 per person is applicable to eligible learners.
