Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more) – TLILIC2005

This course is for students 18 years and older needing a high risk work licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform that extends 11 metres or more.
The course is a 3 day course and covers:
- WH&S requirements
- Hazard identification and risk management
- Plan the work
- Set up elevating work platform
- Identification of EWP
- Pre-start and operational checks
- Operating and mobiling an EWP safely including using outriggers/stabilisers
- Emergency procedures
- Shut down EWP
The 3 day course covers theory and formal training on the first day, practical training on day 2 and the written and performance assessments on day 3.
Students found competent on completion of assessment are eligible to apply for a high risk work licence through Worksafe Queensland.
CSQ funding of $225 toward the course is applicable to eligible learners
