Where a high risk crane licence is not required but a job site requires a crane competency, an RII crane course may be perfect for you.
AIT has highly experience trainers/assessors that provide training and assessment on the following RII crane competencies:
- RIIHAN212D – Conduct non-slewing crane operations
- RIIHAN304D – Conduct slewing crane operations
- RIIHAN305D – Operate a gantry or overhead crane
- RIIHAN307D – Operate a vehicle loading crane (up to 10 metre tonnes)
Each of the competencies are recognised across a variety of industries.
In some cases, site specific rules apply in relation to which competency is required on that site.
Course duration is generally 1 day.
Our trainers/assessors spend as much time as needed with students to ensure they can operate safely.
Course cost: $500 per person.
Additional charges may be incurred if equipment/machinery hire is required.
